BIOGRAPHY

Welsh, 53 years old, Ceri Pritchard lives in Britany, where he has built his timber framed house on the Landes des Lanveaux.

  Having been awarded a 1st class honours degree at Liverpool School of Art, he then moved on to study on the Advanced Sclupture course at St Martins School of Art in London in 1979.

  At the begining of the 80's folowing an escape across the English Channel, he decided to move to the South of France. Here in Provance he exhibits his creations : collages and wood sculptures

  In 87 another trip,this time to New York,where he continues his sculpture and exhibits. He works also in the world of interior decoration and creates for others in Manhattan.

  Returning to France in 89, he moves to Paris where he continues to explore, in particular a mixture of large format painting and collage.

  In 1990 he is in Germany where he exhibits and sells in Hamburg. He mixes with the Berlin underground sceen. Won over by this urban efferessence, he exhibits his work at Gallery Kuprac in the wellknown Kreutzberg district.
